Dr. Daniel J. Carlon Sr.

Dr. Carlon received his B.S. in Biology, maga cum laude, from Boston College.  He graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, 3 years later.  After a tour as a dental officer in the U.S. Army, Dr. Carlon completed the specialized endodontic residency program at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia. Dr. Carlon is honored to be a clinical professor in the endodontic department at Georgia Regents University, and he is on the surgical staff of Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. He is married to Dr. Becky Carlon.  They have 2 children, Dr. Dan Carlon Jr. who is his partner and Dr. Christen Carlon who is in practice with his wife.

 

When not at work, you can find Dr. Carlon on the road running, as he trains for half and full marathons.

 

 

Dr. Daniel J. Carlon Jr.

 

Dr. Carlon Jr. was born and raised right here in Albany.  He graduated from Deerfield Windsor School in 2005.  In 2009, Dr. Carlon, graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  While at Emory, Dan was an active officer of the Kappa Alpha Fraternity.  Four years later, he graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dental Medicine (now Augusta University).  While at MCG, Dr. Carlon received the prestigious OKU honor society award.  Upon graduation, he entered the endodontic residency program at MCG where he performed the most surgical and clinical cases in the history of the program.  He was the first resident to present two original published research papers at the American Association of Endodontists annual meeting.  

 

In his spare time, you can find Dr. Carlon on the tennis courts organizing one of the local men's leagues, pursuing his SCCA racing license, and exploring wiht his pup, Maverick.   

 

 

Kimberly Dixon

Kimberly Dixon was raised here in south Georgia, graduating from Dougherty County High School.  She has been married for 20 years and has three children, a daughter and two sons.  In her free time, she enjoys taking trips to the beach, reading, and spending time with her family.

 

After graduating from highschool, Kimberly completed the dental assisting program at Albany Technical College, at which point we recognized her enthusiasm and passion for the field, and hired her.  She has also graduated from the Expanded Duties for Dental Assistants program. Her first six years were spent as a chariside assistant.  She then moved to the front office and became the face of our practice, cheerfully greeting all patients and putting them at ease when they come through the door.  In her 22 years of working at this practice, she has seen and done it all, and we look forward to another 22 years of her expertise at Carlon Endodontics.

 

 

 

Alyssa Hart

Alyssa Hart was born and raised in South Georgia. She graduated from Worth County High School in 2017 and has been with our office for two years. Her pleasant and fun loving attitude make her an invaluable part of our team and a comforting presence for our patients!  Recently married, she has two children; a step daughter, 7, and a little boy who is 2.

 

In her free time you will find Alyssa shopping and spending time with friends & family.  She loves to travel & is always looking for a new adventure!

Bethany Hall

Bethany grew up in Ellaville, Ga, graduating from Schley County High School. She the attended Columbus State University and was on the Competitve Co Ed cheerleading squad. Bethany moved back to South Georgia in 2019, and worked for two years as a dental assitant in a general practice before joining us as an endodontic assistant.  Her hard working and friendly demeanor keep our office running!  

 

Outside of our office you can find Bethany doing a few of her favorite things such as, spending time with her family, going to the beach, and serving at her church, Grace City. Her husband, Josh, and little boy, Kingston, are always keepingher on her toes!

Abbie Hall

Abbie Hall is our newest dental assistant at Carlon Endodontics. Having been born and raised in Leesburg Georgia, she attended Lee County High school.  We truly value her enthusiasm for learning and calming personality, and we know our patients do as well! 

 

Having set her sights on dental hygiene school in the future, we are very pleased to help her begin her dental career!  Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the beach, and planning her next road trip.
